Data Science Director (Remote)

Responsibilities: Design and implement the data science roadmap, aligning with business objectives Develop models and algorithms to analyze player behavior, predict churn, and optimize in‑game experiences Use data-driven techniques to enhance monetization strategies (e.g., in‑app purchases, ad revenue) and improve player retention Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate game features and marketing strategies Collaborate with engineering teams to establish robust data pipelines and infrastructure Work cross‑functionally with product managers, game designers, and marketing teams to integrate data-driven decision‑making Develop dashboards and reports to communicate key insights to leadership Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, gaming analytics, and machine learning QualificationData Science Machine Learning Statistical Modeling Predictive Analytics SQL Python A/B Testing Big Data Technologies Cloud Platforms Gaming Experience Communication Team Collaboration RequiredBachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in data science, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and experimentation methodologies Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations Passion for gaming and understanding of mobile game KPIs such as DAU, retention, ARPU, LTV, and churn PreferredGaming experience is a plus Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus Competitive compensation package Performance bonuses 401K Match Policy Family friendly culture Flex DTO policy Wellness Perk Free drinks, snacks, and catered lunches on Fridays.
