Open-Rank Tenure-Track Mathematics Professor

The Mathematics Department at Bates College invites applications for a full-time, open rank tenure-track position in mathematics to begin July 2027. We seek an outstanding scholar with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and mentorship in a liberal arts context. The successful candidate will teach a broad range of courses, maintain a signature research program, advise theses, and actively participate in governance and engagement across Bates.
