Pay:
$25.69 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour (if applicable) Shift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift; 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed. In this role, you'll be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. warehousing team, performing front-line processes that ensure successful delivery of final products. You'll gain skills and experience in warehouse operations including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading final products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing areas of the warehouse. You'll operate daily on a forklift and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
- Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
- Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery
- Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
- Successful forklift certification required
Required Experience and Skills:
- Must be 18 years or older 1 year of work experience in any industry
- Forklift experience
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
- Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
Preferred Experience: 1+ year of warehousing work experience
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
