Schedule:
20 hours/week | Monday–Friday Work Window: 4:30 AM–11:00 PM EST | No weekends Contract: 13 weeks | Potential extension Work Setting: Remote Key Responsibilities &
Experience:
Handle complex cancer registry cases, including BMT treatments, multiple-facility abstracts, and rare/complex primary sites. Experience with complex oncology abstracting is strongly preferred. Must be comfortable working with cancer registry/database systems and completing user-defined fields. Candidates may be required to complete an assessment to evaluate registry knowledge and fit. Quality reviews will be conducted; minimum expected accuracy is 90%, with a target mean of 95%.Systems/Software: Onco Log, OncoEMR, Cerner, Allscripts, ARIA, and MOSAIQ.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent in a related field. CTR certification and/or Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) credential from NCRA.2+ years of cancer registry or related experience. Experience with computerized database systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
