Sr Payroll Analyst

Location: Greater Cincinnati / Northern Cincinnati Area

Employment Type: Full-Time We are working with a large, established organization in the Greater Cincinnati area that is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to join its payroll team. This position will play a key role in supporting payroll operations, systems, compliance, and internal users. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on payroll experience along with the ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze payroll data, support system changes, and assist other members of the payroll team.

Responsibilities: Support day-to-day payroll operations and help ensure payroll systems remain accurate and compliant. Research and resolve more complex payroll questions and escalations. Provide support and guidance to payroll team members and internal business partners. Monitor and manage payroll-related requests and issues through an internal ticketing/workflow system. Analyze payroll reports and provide information to internal stakeholders. Document payroll processes, business requirements, and system changes. Assist with payroll system enhancements, testing, validation, and implementation. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and system functionality. Work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, IT, and other internal teams as needed.

Required: 4+ years of payroll experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience supporting employees or internal customers with payroll-related questions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and related business applications. High school diploma or GED.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree. Experience with enterprise payroll systems. Payroll tax experience. Experience supporting payroll system implementations, enhancements, or testing.
