Providing personal financial counseling services remotely, the full-time State Licensed Financial Counselor will assist military service members and their families with financial education, one-on-one counseling, and workshops tailored to their needs.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive personal financial counseling and management services to military personnel and their families
Coordinate and conduct a variety of Personal Financial Management classes and workshops addressing key financial topics
Utilize virtual counseling methods and maintain communication with installation leadership to ensure program effectivenessRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience (associate degree with 4 years or high school diploma with 6 years in financial counseling)
3+ years of financial counseling experience
U.S. citizenship and fluent English proficiency; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Certification as Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) required
Ability to pass a Tier 2 investigation and comply with organizational conflict of interest disclosures
