Description: American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an acute care hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification, with PET experience highly preferred. Details Acute care hospital setting with 488 staffed beds Nuclear Medicine department performing PET/CT and nuclear cardiology procedures Day shift schedule, 4x 10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PMMay float between sister facilities within the region On-call not required but may be requested Uses Epic charting systemGE, Philips, and Siemens equipment used

Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience requiredBLS certification requiredARRT (N) or NMTCB certification requiredCA license required if applicableCT Advanced Certification preferredPET experience highly preferred Epic experience preferred Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level II experience preferred Skills include bone scans, myocardial and ventricular studies, SPECT, renal and thyroid studies, and cardiac stress testing Experience with drawing venous blood, starting IVs, and handling radioactive materials First-time travelers considered if they have 2+ years of experience and PET experience
