A respected behavioral health program in Troy, NY is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Geriatric Psychiatrist to provide care in a dedicated inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering specialized, patient-centered care for older adults.
Position: Physician Psychiatry (Geriatric)
Location: Troy, NY
Practice Setting: Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Unit Opportunity Highlights
- Full-time inpatient role on a 20-bed geriatric psychiatry unit
- 1:6 weekend call rotation
- Work alongside a dedicated Clinical Coordinator/Social Worker (geriatrics-trained)
- Join a multidisciplinary care team (therapists, counselors, NPs, case managers)

- Ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry REQUIRED Active New York License (or eligible) REQUIRED DEA License REQUIRED Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry HIGHLY PREFERRED Clean malpractice & license history HIGHLY PREFERRED Must disclose visa requirement status (No visa support available) NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) REQUIRED Local candidates within 30 miles cannot be considered
