Occupational Therapy Aide Job at Kansas-Orthopaedic-Center-PA in Wichita

Position Hours: M - F, with varying hours

SUMMARY: OF RESPONSIBILITIESTransport and prepare patients for treatment. Assists with treatment as directed by the Therapists such as getting weights, setting up equipment or modalities for use, supervising patients exercises and printing exercises, prepping splint materials, and communicating with team members regarding patients response to treatment. Keeps treatment areas clean, organized, stocked, and unobstructed. Provides assistance to receptionist and with clerical duties as needed. Contributes to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of the organization. Personally adhere to the standards, rules, and procedures of the KOC Compliance and HIPAA Programs and contribute to ensuring the organizational commitment to compliance and HIPAA regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous customer service, patient care or medical reception experience preferred. Basic knowledge of medical terminology a plus Ability to prioritize, work independently, and communicate (orally and written) effectively. Positive personality & great interpersonal skills Proficiency with Windows based applications
