Visiting Assistant Professorship in Bioarchaeology and/or Forensic Anthropology Visiting Assistant Professorship in Bioarchaeology and/or Forensic Anthropology Employer The Department of Anthropology at the Brown University Location Rhode Island, United States Deadline October 15, 2026 The Department of Anthropology invites applications for a three-year Visiting Assistant Professorship in bioarchaeology and/or forensic anthropology, appointment effective July 1, 2027. The annual salary for this position is $70,000. Candidates should have completed all degree requirements for a Ph. D. in Anthropology or a related discipline by the position start date. The teaching load of this appointment is four courses per academic year, to include human osteology, human evolution, bioarchaeology and forensic anthropology, and electives related to the candidate’s area of expertise. This three-year Visiting Assistant Professorship is not renewable. Initial application materials should include a letter of application, names of three references, and curriculum vitae.
