Description:
Assist with patient care based on the individual patient needs. Performs duties in the Emergency Department within the scope of practice and under direct supervision of the registered nurse and/or physician.
Regulatory Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent required (GED)CNA required or prior Patient Care Technician experience. STNA or PCT Preferred Must have current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
Language Skills:
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
