$65,000 - $75,000 SUMMARY OF POSITION:HVPT ICON Parking is seeking a Junior Accounting Analyst to support daily and monthly bank reconciliations across a large, multi-entity bank account portfolio. The successful candidate will assist with reconciling bank activity to the general ledger, researching discrepancies, maintaining accurate supporting documentation, and helping ensure cash activity is recorded accurately and timely. This role is well suited for an early-career accounting professional looking to build hands-on experience in cash reconciliation, general ledger support, and month-end close activities.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform assigned daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts across the Company's multi-entity structure
- Compare bank statements to the general ledger and identify basic discrepancies or unmatched transactions
- Research unreconciled transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, ACH payments, wire transfers, and checks, and escalate more complex items as needed
- Assist with monitoring outstanding checks, deposits in transit, and unidentified transactions and follow up on aged items Cash Activity & Journal Entry Support
- Assist with ensuring daily cash activity is recorded accurately and timely in support of cash upload and close deadlines
- Prepare routine journal entries and supporting documentation for review and approval Coordination & Close Support
- Work with Accounting, Treasury, internal departments, and banking contacts to research and resolve routine cash-related questions
- Support month-end close by completing assigned reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation by established deadlines
- Maintain organized reconciliation files and assist with process improvements and other accounting projects as assigned
- Perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-4 years of accounting, cash reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or related finance experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, filtering, sorting, and Pivot Tables; willingness to develop more advanced skills
- Experience with NetSuite or another ERP/accounting system preferred
- Basic understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation principles
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to manage assigned tasks, prioritize deadlines, and ask questions or escalate issues when needed
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
