Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities: Applies basic concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform routine tasks Assess oncology patients' symptoms and make suggestions and recommendations on individual treatment plans Works on projects of limited scope and complexity Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions Shared Call with teammates Develops competence by performing structured work assignments Update patient records using electronic medical records Work closely with oncologists for any changes in symptoms or individual treatment plans Medication Management Symptom Management Conduct physical examinations Comply with all HIPAA laws regarding patient confidentiality Qualifications 2 - 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferred Bachelor's degree of Science in NursingNP-focused Masters degree Successfully passed a National Nurse Practitioner board certification exam Previous experience working within oncology in a clinical setting, highly preferred Oncology certification a plus Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration and license, preferred Anticipated salary range: $115,000 - $155,500 Bonus eligible: NoBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
