This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Project Executive to take ownership of a portfolio of active high-rise projects, driving delivery performance, financial control, and execution standards across multiple jobs simultaneously. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent high-rise projects, providing strategic direction and operational control while supporting Senior Project Managers and field leadership teams across all active jobs. You will act as a key driver of performance, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a consistently high standard of execution across the portfolio. This is not a passive oversight role. It is a builder’s executive position requiring strong commercial judgement, field awareness, and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple complex projects.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- 🏗 Multi-Project Delivery Leadership
- Oversee several active ground-up high-rise projects concurrently
- Provide direct leadership and support to Senior Project Managers and field teams
- Align execution strategy across all projects to ensure consistent delivery standards💰 Financial & Commercial Oversight
- Full responsibility for project financial performance across assigned portfolio
- Drive forecasting accuracy, cost control, and margin protection
- Review and approve major subcontract awards, procurement strategy, and change order exposure
- Maintain strong commercial discipline across all active projects📅 Schedule & Execution Control
- Ensure schedule integrity across multiple projects
- Oversee CPM schedules, sequencing strategies, and recovery planning where required
- Hold teams accountable for milestone delivery and turnover targets⚠️ Risk & Operational Leadership
- Identify and manage project and portfolio risk
- Ensure consistent application of company standards across all sites
- Support resolution of commercial, contractual, and operational issues👥 Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and develop Senior Project Managers and project teams
- Support resource allocation across multiple live projects
- Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and execution excellence🤝 Client & Executive Interface
- Act as senior point of contact for project stakeholders and ownership groups
- Lead executive reporting on project performance across portfolio
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and design and consultant teams🎯 Candidate Profile 15+ years construction management experience
- Proven experience at Senior Project Manager or Project Executive levelGC or Construction Manager at-risk background required
- Strong track record delivering ground-up high-rise projects valued at $50M+Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
- Strong NYC construction experience, including DOB driven environments
- Strong commercial capability with deep understanding of cost, contracts, and risk
