Apply for this role →*We are unable to sponsor for this permanent full-time role**Position is Bonus eligible*Prestigious Financial Institution is currently seeking a Sr. Storage Engineer with strong Hitachi and Pure Storage arrays experience. Candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Linux multi-path and Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switching.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage storage solutions, primarily using Hitachi and Pure Storage arrays. Collaborate with storage vendors on installation, upgrades, and replacementsofstorage arrays. Ensureoptimalperformance and reliability of storage systems. Administer Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switches. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on storage projects and requests. Document processes and maintainstandards for storage system architecture.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in storage engineering. Strongexpertisein Hitachi storage solutions: Ops Center Admin, CM-REST, Analyzer, and RAIDCOMDeep understanding of Fibre Channel switching layer with an ability to troubleshoot. Familiarity with Pure Storage arrays. Proficient in RHEL multipath configuration for various array types. Eagerness to work with and learn from the team.
Preferred Skills:
Detailed knowledge of the Hitachi and Pure array model lines. Troubleshootingskills for Fibre Channel performance issues. Abilitytowrite and understand scripts usedforautomation ofdata collection tasks. Experience withsoftware-definedand object storage solutions. Knowledgeof data replication options and when to utilize each.
