Senior Property and Casualty Underwriter

Key responsibilities: Analyze commercial lines accounts to make sound underwriting decisions based on risk characteristics and exposure analysis Communicate with agency personnel regarding underwriting issues and present new and renewal proposals Collaborate with business development representatives to achieve production goals and maintain positive agency relationshipsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience required 5+ years of commercial insurance experience required Advanced knowledge of insurance principles and commercial lines underwriting Strong sales and marketing skills with the ability to qualify opportunities Ability to work in a team environment and mentor less experienced underwriters
