Chief County Legal Counsel & Department Leader

Doña Ana County invites applications for the position of Chief Legal Counsel to lead the County’s Legal Department. The role provides strategic legal advice to protect County interests, oversee civil and criminal litigation, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. You will direct daily operations, supervise attorneys and staff, coordinate agency legal services, and manage the department budget while working with elected officials and department heads to support County operations.
