Warehouse AssociateO'Rourke Sales is interviewing for a Warehouse Associate position at our corporate office in Davenport, Iowa. We are an established national distributor offering numerous lines of consumer electronics and standard to high-end appliances. Our operation spans from the East Coast to the West Coast with seven branch operations. O'Rourke Sales is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Position Level: Entry level to Experienced.
Position Type: Full Time 1st Shift– Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00 (start/end time may vary). Overtime may be required.
Job Summary: Under supervision of the Warehouse Manager, this person will be responsible for supporting the efforts of our shipping department by picking and packing product and other warehouse assignments.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Organizing product
  • Pulling and packing orders
  • Processing shipping labels
  • Inventory checks
  • Warehouse cleaning
  • Office and janitorial cleaning
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic to include a self-starter approach.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple assignments.
  • Ability to analyze situations and recommend solutions.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Pleasant and professional attitude
  • Ability to foster appropriate working relationships with co-workers and Management.
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Clamp truck experience a plus
  • Previous warehouse experience a plusRF scanner experience a plus
Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Salary Description $19.00/hour
