Radiology Services Manager

Methodist Health System in Dallas is seeking a Radiology Manager to lead daily operations of our imaging services. This role oversees technologists and support staff, ensuring safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging and an exceptional patient experience. The Radiology Manager will manage staffing, scheduling, and performance, while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory and radiation safety standards. In partnership with physicians and clinical leaders, you will drive workflow optimization, quality initiatives, and efficient use of RIS/PACS and EMR systems. Oversee daily operations of radiology services across imaging modalities to ensure safe, high-quality diagnostic care Supervise, schedule, and mentor technologists and support staff, promoting a collaborative, patient-centered culture Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards, including radiation safety protocols Partner with physicians and clinical leaders to optimize workflows, quality metrics, and patient throughput Manage departmental budget, equipment utilization, and coordinate maintenance and upgrades Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives, policies, and evidence-based best practices Support hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and ongoing staff education and competencies Use RIS/PACS and EMR systems to track volumes, performance, and operational reports for leadership Radiology department operations management Knowledge of imaging modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional) Regulatory and accreditation compliance (e.g., Joint Commission, state and federal imaging standards) Radiation safety and quality assurance Staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management Budgeting, resource allocation, and cost management Experience with RIS/PACS and EMR systems Quality improvement and workflow optimization Clinical protocol development and adherence monitoring Data analysis and reporting for volume, quality, and throughput Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ARRT certification strongly preferred State radiologic technologist licensure as required by Texas BLS certification; ACLS preferred depending on modality Certification in a primary imaging modality (e.g., RT(R), CT, MR, NM) Leadership or management training/certificate preferred (e.g., healthcare management) Knowledge of Joint Commission and regulatory standards for imaging services
