You'll also be the face of your station’s weather operation, delivering forecasts, telling stories, and connecting with audiences on air. As part of a collaborative team that creates compelling, timely, and accurate newscasts, your work will keep audiences informed across traditional and digital platforms. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: TO SPECTRUM NEWS
Required Qualifications
Experience: Forecasting and presenting weathercasts, including severe weather coverage - 7+ years, working knowledge of TV weather graphics systems
Education: Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal or ability to obtain within 18 months of employment
Technical Skills: Synoptic, tropical, and radar meteorology expertise
Skills: On-camera skills
