Adjunct Instructor - Face-to-Face Statics

Job Duties: Job responsibilities include preparing and teaching Statics. The instructor will collaborate with the Pre-engineering faculty and the Faculty Development Team as needed to ensure continued success. This is a adjunct faculty position and the instructor could teach from one to three classes. Continued adjunct teaching is a possibility beyond the summer term. Butler uses electronic grade books and other forms of mediated communication. Free training is offered and required. Qualifications: The applicant may be requested to authorize the College to procure a consumer report(s) for employment purposes. Required knowledge and skills Knowledge of engineering statics at the college sophomore level. Ability to work in a learning management system. (training is available).

Required experience: Teaching experience at the college level is preferred. Required educational background Masters degree and 18 graduate hours in engineering, or related, is required.
