Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, repair, install, and maintain dies and tooling components Read blueprints and use measuring tools Perform routine preventative maintenance on dies Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion to help minimize downtime Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve die performance Basic machine set up such as lathes, and mills Welding experience is a plus Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work 2nd / 3rd shift Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Prior use of precision measuring tools Previous experience in die maintenance and repair Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment Previous welding experience or willing to be trained Ability to handle a physical workload Experience working with CNC Mills and 3D models is a plus
