State Licensed Staff Attorney

Key responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial contracts for the Academy and its affiliates Advise business teams on contract interpretation and obligations, simplifying legal concepts for non-lawyers Streamline contract processes and maintain organized records of executed contracts and related documents

Required qualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school License to practice law (or ability to become licensed) in state of residence 2-3 years' experience in transactional law at a law firm or in-house corporate legal department Experience advising on music and entertainment business matters strongly preferred Proven ability to draft and negotiate legal documents effectively
