Based near Harrison, AR, you’ll run local and regional routes with dependable, steady freight and modern equipment. Safely haul temperature-controlled and live loads, complete on-time deliveries, and follow all FMCSA and food safety regulations. Safely operate a local CDL A tractor-trailer hauling refrigerated and live poultry loads Complete on-time pickups and deliveries to customers and poultry facilities in the region Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance issues Follow all FMCSA, company, and food safety regulations and procedures Accurately maintain logs, paperwork, and electronic records as required Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members Protect product quality, monitor temperatures, and secure all loads Represent Lew Thompson & Son Trucking with courteous, safe driving at all times CDL A driving Local route navigation FMCSA safety compliance Pre/post-trip inspections Refrigerated trailer operation Logbook/E-logs management Backing and maneuvering skills Cargo securement Defensive driving Basic truck maintenance checks Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class A license Clean MVR and safe driving record DOT medical certification Knowledge of FMCSA regulations Experience with refrigerated or live haul preferred
