Pay range: (USD)15.00 hrly -(USD)21.00 hrly
Summary Of Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Function as a rehabilitation technician in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department
- Assists in preparation of equipment, i.e. hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin baths and hot packs, in an appropriate manner as directed by the therapist.
- Assists therapist as directed, including positioning patients, in, at or on equipment, devices or treatment tables.
- Assists therapist in the adjustment of canes, wheelchairs or other assistive devices.
- Escorts patients to and from treatment or activity areas.
- Maintains work area in a safe, clean manner.
- Obtains equipment materials and supplies from storage areas and positions them appropriately for use.
- Maintain equipment/cleaning logs
- Adheres to hospital infection control procedures.
- Manages equipment inventory.
- All other duties as required by the dept.
Skills: One year experience
