Plumbing Drain Technician

What you’ll do: Diagnose and resolve residential drain and sewer problems, from routine stoppages to more complex issues. Use cable machines, hydro-jetting equipment, sewer cameras, and locating tools to identify problems and restore flow. Explain camera findings, repair options, pricing, and recommended next steps in terms customers can understand. Prepare accurate estimates and recommend repairs or preventive services when they address a customer’s needs. Document your work, maintain your equipment and vehicle, and follow safe work practices. Deliver the kind of service that earns customer trust and repeat business.

What you bring: Experience in drain cleaning, sewer service, plumbing service, or a closely related field. Two or more years is preferred. The ability to troubleshoot independently and complete work to a high standard. Experience with drain equipment and sewer cameras; hydro-jetting experience is a plus. Strong communication skills and confidence discussing estimates without high-pressure sales tactics. A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards. Any Washington credential required for the specific work you perform.

Compensation and benefits: Estimated total annual compensation: $75,000–$150,000+, with uncapped commission potential. Actual earnings vary based on performance, completed work, and business volume.
