Apply for this role →Senior Cnc Operators Midwest Precision is seeking experienced Senior Cnc Operators with strong skills in either Cnc Milling or Cnc Lathe Operations. We are looking for dependable, quality-focused machinists who can work independently in a fast-paced precision-manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Cnc mills or lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding
- Perform tool changes and machine offsets
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Verify parts meet dimensional and quality requirements
- Identify and correct machining or quality issues
- Complete required production and inspection documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Support and assist less-experienced operators as needed
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Several years of Cnc machining experience
- Advanced experience operating Cnc mills or Cnc lathes
- Setup experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and understand Gd&TExperience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
- Ability to make offsets, change tooling, and troubleshoot machining issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently
