Psychology Technician

Job Duties: Interview patients requesting mental health treatment and determine eligibility for daily appointment schedules and prepare documents/reports using the automated system and appropriate software. Provide crisis intervention, group therapy, and administrative assistance with case management, under the supervision of credentialed providers. Serve as case manager to initiate and coordinate care with local inpatient facility for mental health basic assessment procedures to include clinical interviewing, mental status examination, bio psychosocial history and other case information for walk-ins and/or groups, under the supervision of credentialed providers. Administer a wide variety of psychological testing to include personality, intelligence, cognitive, achievement, and projective tests. Coordinate and conduct suicide prevention briefings and training briefers to ensure quality and consistency.
