Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic team member to join our cookie and ice cream shop. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving desserts, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Scoop ice cream and serve cookies according to shop standards
- Prepare desserts, toppings, and beverages as needed
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions responsibly
- Keep the front and back of the shop clean and organized
- Restock supplies and ingredients
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health guidelines
- Work as part of a team to ensure fast and friendly service
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items
- Basic math skills for handling cash
- Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required (training provided)
- Schedule & Availability
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
