This is a defined December 21–24 call block supporting an established community OB/GYN program with approximately 25–30 deliveries per month, a Level I Nursery, and responsibility for both obstetric coverage and emergent OB/GYN presentations. Coverage Needed December 21–24, 202624-hour call: 7A–7AFour-day holiday coverage block Practice Environment Approximately 25–30 deliveries per month Level I Nursery49-bed community hospital Obstetric and gynecologic emergency coverage Physician responds to ER consultations including: Miscarriage Ectopic pregnancy Other acute OB/GYN emergencies Clinical Expectations Provide comprehensive OB/GYN call coverage Manage labor and delivery responsibilities Evaluate and manage emergent obstetric and gynecologic presentations Comfortable with the clinical needs of both OB and pediatric/newborn care Independent physician coverage appropriate to a community hospital environment
