Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Provide nursing care to patients during labor and postpartum, monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rates, administer medications, and support newborns and families. Duties include phlebotomy, IV and central-line care, and educating new mothers on infant care. Monitor maternal vital signs during labor and postpartum stages. Monitor fetal heart rates and provide immediate newborn care. Perform phlebotomy and basic IV and central-line care. Administer pain medication and other medicines as ordered. Educate and support new mothers and families on infant care. Serve as a primary point of contact for family members throughout labor.
