Job Description: TITLE: Tutor(University Students)

LOCATION: Participating Elementary Schools (e.g., Calhoun, Concord)

DURATION: 8 Week Program- Fall Semester

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must be actively enrolled and in good standing withhis/her Candidate must be available to assist during the times determined by the school principal. OBJECTIVE: To provide students with academic support in theareas of reading and mathematics in order to meet or exceed grade level performanceexpectations.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborates with administratorsand teachers. Assists with the collection of data, analysis of data results andorganization of the results. Delivers intensive prescriptive remediation/instruction to students to increase academic achievement in reading andmath usingresearch-basedprograms. Provides the classroom teacher and administration with regular reports regard student progress. Maintains and submits accurate and up-to-date management records of all students’ progress. Maintains confidentiality concerning student records. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2-5 hours weekly; $20/hour; tutoring begins on/after September 10, 2026 and will last up to 8 weeks
