Surgical Assistant – Honolulu, HIMedical Edge Recruitment is seeking a Surgical Assistant for a full-time opportunity in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii!

Salary: $116,000 to $140,000 annually

Schedule: Full Time

Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons during operative procedures as the First Assistant
Maintain a sterile surgical environment
Provide intraoperative support, including tissue handling, exposure, hemostasis, and wound closure
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent education and training
Current Certified First Assistant (CFA), Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA), or Assistant in Surgery certification through one of the following:
National Board of Surgical Technology and Assisting (NBSTSA)
National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA)
American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA)
National Assistant at Surgery Council (NASC)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for Healthcare Providers
Previous First Assistant/Surgical Assistant experience preferred
