The Manufacturing Engineer will assist with mechanical quality assurance, Visual Factory and vendor quality. management.
Responsibilities:
Level ICreate process sheets for manufacturing and assign raw materials to manufacturing items and process sheets.
Review and compare original mechanical engineering drawings and specifications to the built product, documenting built changes through defined processes/procedures. Complete Factory Assurance Testing procedures and document results through defined process and procedures.
Purchased commodity item inspection.50% of the time on the production floor.
Review engineering drawings and develop flat patterns for custom designed engineered equipment fabricated from sheet metal and plate. (level II).Review mechanical engineering drawings for accuracy prior to release for fabrications utilizing AutoCADLevel IIAll the above 25% of the time on the production floor.

Required Skills:
- Level I D365Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- QA experience
- Purchase commodity inspection
- Fabrication inspection
- Other duties as assigned.
- Additional Skills a PlusVisual factory experience (tagging/labeling). AutoCAD experience, minimum of 1 year.
- Level IIAll of the above plus
- SolidWorks experience
- SolidWorks flat layout experience
- Custom fabrication experienceWelding experienceWelding certifications
- Weld Inspection Certification
- Education Level IBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar degree.1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
