Under direct supervision, the Lab Assistant is responsible for collecting and processing patient specimens, performing basic analysis, maintaining lab equipment, and supporting patient flow. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely lab results while upholding safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect specimens from patients as ordered Document and process lab results according to established procedures Perform basic analysis of chemistry, hematology, and immunology specimens Maintain lab inventory and ensure supply viability Send specimens to reference labs and chart incoming results Operate and maintain lab equipment under CLIA guidelines Perform phlebotomy and sample collection as needed Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety protocols Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required 03 years of relevant experience (entry-level welcome!)Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Comfortable working in a clinical environment with potential exposure to biohazards Physical &
Work Environment:
