OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN

Optometric Technician Iberia Comprehensive Community Health Center (ICCHC) and its satellite health centers are the leading providers of primary health care services in the communities we serve, including individuals who are both insured and uninsured. ICCHC provides multi-disciplinary, comprehensive health care services, including vision care. ICCHC is currently seeking a full-time Optometric Technician for its Youngsville, LA location. This position works under the supervision of the Optometrists and Office Manager. The Optometric Technician is a member of the eye care team. The Optometric Technician performs required visual tests and prepare patients to be examined by the Optometrist, provides quality direct patient care to all patients served in the optical setting and works to ensure smooth and efficient coordination between physician and patients. May also assist with front desk and optician tasks.
