Volunteer Opportunity: Companion Visitor

We are seeking a friendly and reliable volunteer to provide in-person companionship to an older adult living in an Adult Family Home in Kent. About the Participant Alert and oriented Grew up on a farm and enjoys sharing stories from his past Has a strong interest in: Rock and roll music Movies (especially action and horror genres) Enjoys conversation and social interaction Volunteer Role Provide one-to-one companionship through conversation and shared interests Talk about music, movies, or life experiences Offer consistent social connection to help reduce isolation Visits are in-person only Volunteer Preferences No gender preference Comfortable engaging in conversation and building rapport Dependable, friendly, and respectful Flexible scheduling (weekly or bi-weekly visits welcome) Why Volunteer?
