Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction

Key Responsibilities: Support overall project planning, scheduling, and execution Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and quantity take-offs Coordinate with field teams, inspectors, designers, and subcontractors Review plans, specifications, and contract documents for constructability Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development

Qualifications: Degree in Civil Construction Management, or related field experience is preferred 1-5 years of experience in heavy civil construction Knowledge of earthwork, concrete, structures, utilities, and pavement projects ispreferred. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project, Excel) Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
