Commercial Helper/Driver

Essential job functions include: Drives and loads a front-loading refuse collection truck along a fixed collection route. Observes all state and federal highway laws for safe operation of vehicle. Ensures that trucks are properly loaded and secured. Executes daily routes to commercial properties, adhering to assigned schedules. Inspects dumpsters upon arrival and documents any overfilled containers using onboard truck dashcam. Performs necessary tasks to ensure proper disposal procedures are followed. Works closely with assigned helper to efficiently complete tasks. Provides support and guidance to helpers as needed. Inspects vehicles before, during and after operation and reports unsatisfactory conditions to a supervisor. Reports any issues encountered during routes, such as blocked dumpsters or other obstacles. Maintains cleanliness of the truck by cleaning and washing it daily. Refuels truck at the end of each workday to ensure readiness for the next shift. Performs any other related duties as required or assigned. Applicant must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Job description: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; and one (1) year of relevant experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Special requirements: Drug testing: All applicants are subject to pre-employment drug testing; individual in this position will be subject to random drug & alcohol testing. Days & hours: Daily 3:00 AM 11:30 AM off Wednesday & Sunday.
