IT/AV Support Technician - Digital Signage

Responsibilities: Provide technical support for digital signage, IT/AV hardware, software, networking, and content management systems. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues involving hardware, software, connectivity, configuration, access, and system functionality. Configure, test, and prepare Bright Sign media players and other equipment for customer deployments. Configure network settings, software, CMS accounts, content, and system functionality. Learn and become highly knowledgeable in multiple digital signage CMS platforms. Provide remote technical support to customers and field technicians by phone, email, and other electronic communication. Diagnose complex technical issues and determine whether the root cause is hardware, software, networking, configuration, content, or another system component. Work with internal teams, programmers, manufacturers, and technology partners to resolve escalated technical issues. Test solutions and validate fixes before they are deployed to customers. Document technical issues, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and customer interactions in ticketing and project management systems. Provide customer training and demonstrations on digital signage hardware and software. Participate in testing and evaluation of new hardware, software, and digital signage technologies. Assist with pre-sales technical demonstrations and project feasibility when needed. Support deployment and installation projects through equipment preparation, testing, troubleshooting, and technical coordination. Provide occasional local on-site technical support when needed. Participate in after-hours support when necessary for customer deployments or international customers. Track time spent on customer projects and support activities.\nCompany
