Director, Expert Research

The Role: We are hiring a Director, Expert Research to further enhance our exclusive expert network and develop our offering to our key clients. The candidate will assess the fit and credibility of individuals for complex litigation, arbitration and advisory matters worldwide. The candidate will also develop our processes, proprietary tools, and network that will scale the function as SEDA grows. This is a hands-on leadership role.

What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in executive search, specialist recruitment or a related field, with a track record of engaging senior professionals. Financial services or legal services experience is preferred. Detailed understanding of financial markets and products, enabling credible conversations with former bank executives, traders, risk officers and regulators. Strong interviewing and assessment skills, including behavioral interviewing, diligence, and judging how a candidate will hold up under scrutiny. Comfort working across time zones with global clients and experts. Organizational skills: you can run several urgent mandates at once and handle confidential information discreetly. Experience improving research processes and developing databases is a plus.
