Veteran Peer Companion

Veteran Peer Companions provide meaningful companionship to hospice patients who have served in the military. Volunteers visit patients in their homes or care facilities to offer conversation, friendship, a listening ear, or simply a comforting presence. This opportunity is open to Veterans and active-duty service members who want to connect with and support fellow Veterans. No medical experience is required-just a caring heart and willingness to be present.
