This family-run, hospital-based practice in Denver cares for medically complex adults across a long-term acute care hospital, acute rehab, and hospital backup units inside skilled nursing facilities. Every new hire rounds side by side with the supervising physician for at least 3 months before going independent, and senior NPs stay close after that. Many of the practice's long-time NPs started here straight out of school. You'll work just 3 days a week (12-hour shifts), call is phone-only, and raises are reviewed as early as 3 months in.
Key Responsibilities:
Care for high-acuity, often ventilator-dependent adults across LTAC and hospital backup units Round with the supervising physician for 3+ months, then independently with backup Keep families informed and involved, since many patients can't speak for themselves Join twice-weekly multidisciplinary rounds and support nursing across the unit Take phone-only call on rotation Travel between Denver-metro sites as needed (compensated)
Qualifications:
