A leading global mid-market investment bank is seeking an Experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join its Chicago office. This is a near-term opportunity for a professional with 1–2 years of experience in Audit or Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) to transition into a high-impact, client-facing investment banking role. The Analyst will work across M&A, special situations, and financing transactions, gaining direct exposure to senior bankers, clients, investors, and counterparties throughout the transaction process.
Responsibilities: Build detailed financial models, including DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, and LBO analyses Conduct company and industry research to support live transactions and business development Prepare confidential information presentations, management presentations, pitch materials, and other client deliverables Support due diligence, transaction processes, and data room management Work directly with clients, investors, and other transaction counterparties Assist senior bankers throughout the full deal execution process Qualifications 1–2 years of full-time experience in Audit or Transaction Advisory Services (TAS)Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Strong financial modeling, accounting, and valuation skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment Available to start in the near term This is a strong opportunity for a TAS or Audit professional looking to make the move into investment banking and gain meaningful exposure to live transactions, senior clients, and a broad range of middle-market deals.
