REGISTERED NURSE

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you’ll provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, circulating and scrubbing as appropriate, and rapid response to emergent situations. Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for Cath Lab patients Monitor and document patient status, including hemodynamics and rhythm Administer medications and moderate sedation per protocol Circulate and assist during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff to ensure safe, efficient care Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, infection control, and radiation safety standards Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-discharge care Respond rapidly to emergencies and participate in code situations Accurately document all care in the EHR and follow facility policies Participate in quality improvement, continuing education, and team meetings Cardiac catheterization procedures Hemodynamic monitoring EKG/telemetry interpretation Sterile technique and infection control Moderate sedation administration and monitoring IV therapy and medication administration Emergency response and ACLS protocols Patient assessment and care planning Radiation safety practices Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license (state-specific) ACLS certification BLS certification Previous Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred CCRN or RCIS preferred
