Steel Fabricator Details: Temp-to-Hire position$ 22.00 / hour Full Time work available Second Shift (Monday through Thursday from 03:30pm to 04:00am)Perform material handling duties including lifting, positioning, and removing workpieces from conveyors and bunks. Measure and mark reference points accurately using tape measures and layout tools. Load, stack, and transport materials, tools, and work-in-process products by hand or with overhead cranes. Attach chains, clamps, and rigging equipment to prepare materials for crane movement. Clean, grind, and prepare metal surfaces for welding, fabrication, painting, and shipping. Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. Assist with fabrication projects while meeting quality and production standards.
