Physician - Anesthesiologist

Pay Rate: $309 - $333/hrAstrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Auburn, New York. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend. Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist: Provide full-time Anesthesiology coverage working 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with 40 hours guaranteed Cover night call shifts from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM as scheduled Cover weekend call shifts as 24-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AMBe willing to cover a minimum of 2 call shifts per week, with openness to additional call coverage as needed Arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes when on call Check in and out with the Unit Coordinator when entering or leaving the facility Independently perform regional anesthesia blocks Supervise anesthesia providers at up to a 4:1 ratio Provide OB anesthesia coverage as required Utilize Epic charting system for all clinical documentation Maintain a minimum of 2 years of Anesthesiology experience Maintain Board Certified or Board Eligible status Maintain valid New York state licensure Maintain current AHA or RQI certification Clock actual hours worked accurately, including call-back and on-call hours Comply with all credentialing, privileging, and compliance documentation requirements prior to start of services Disclose any malpractice history, including dismissed claims, with physician statement Submit CV with no unexplained work history gaps of 30 or more days Complete a phone interview with the Anesthesia Chief as part of the onboarding process Submit itemized receipts for all travel and lodging expenses for reimbursement eligibility Remain within a 20-minute radius of the facility while on call and not leave the state or country during on-call periods Benefits for a Anesthesiologist: Weekly pay every Friday Comprehensive Professional Malpractice Insurance24/7 Recruitment Support Full-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel Team Referral Bonus up to $5,000 Astrya Global Medical Staffing offers 10+ years of staffing experience, 100% domestic support, and is certified by both the Joint Commission and National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.
