Position Summary:
  • Kunes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department team. In this role, you'll oversee day-to-day service operations, ensure customers receive clear communication and outstanding service, and help the department run efficiently and profitably.
  • Compensation$120,000.00–$150,000.00 annually, based on experience
  • Base Salary + Commission
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the service department team to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Greet and communicate with customers regarding vehicle concerns, diagnoses, and repair recommendations
  • Oversee diagnosis and repair processes to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Keep customers updated throughout the service process, from drop-off to delivery
  • Manage service department scheduling, workflow, and productivity
  • Monitor department performance, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership service standards
  • Coach and develop service advisors and technicians
Requirements:
  • Qualifications 3+ years of experience in automotive service or a dealership service department required; management experience preferredStrong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable
  • Technical/trade school diploma or ASE certifications preferredStrong customer service skillsStrong computer skillsStrong math skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
