Expected Commitment: Approximately 36 hours per week Daytime Coverage: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. Weeknight Call: Monday–Friday, 5:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Weekend Call: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m. Shift Duration:12-hour shifts General Anesthesiologist Job Requirements At least 1 year of anesthesiology experienceMD or DO degree Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology Demonstrated comfort providing pediatric anesthesia Demonstrated proficiency in regional anesthesia Ability and willingness to provide weeknight and 24-hour weekend call coverage Experience with general anesthesia and orthopedic procedures Eligibility for appropriate Pennsylvania medical licensure and credentialingNPDB self-query available for review during presentation Anesthesiologist Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for pediatric and adult patients Administer general and regional anesthesia for scheduled procedures Support orthopedic surgical cases and other assigned procedures Evaluate patients before procedures and develop individualized anesthesia plans Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and manage post-anesthesia recovery Provide scheduled weeknight and 24-hour weekend call coverage Collaborate with surgeons, procedural teams, nursing staff, and other clinicians to promote excellent patient outcomes Apply nowfor this Pennsylvania anesthesiologist opportunity and join a collaborative healthcare team in Somerset.
