Visiting Angels of SWMO is seeking an exceptional caregiver forrotating 12-hour night shiftswho believes, like we do, that great care is about the whole person. Through our Gladlyapproach, we focus on helping our clients experience better days at home through five important areas: Safety & Risk Reduction– Helping clients feel secure and confident at home. Mental Strength– Encouraging conversation, routines, purpose, and meaningful engagement. Physical Strength– Supporting safe movement, mobility, and independence. Emotional Well-being– Providing companionship, encouragement, reassurance, and joy. Nutritional Guidance– Supporting hydration, meals, and healthy daily routines. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR Our ideal caregiver: Has experience caring for individuals withdementia and Alzheimer's disease Can provide both personal and companion care Communicates well and pays attention to verbal and nonverbal cues Is patient, dependable, compassionate, and professional Respects each client's choices, dignity, and independence Has a genuine desire to serve older adults Can bring warmth, encouragement, and even a little humor to the home Has a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Can successfully complete required criminal background and motor vehicle history screenings Most importantly, we're looking for someone who shares our Core Values: ROTATING 12-HOUR NIGHT SHIFTS If you're looking for more than just another caregiving job and want the opportunity to make someone's days—and nights—at home safer, steadier, and more meaningful, we'd love to meet you.
